Adopted Missionary

Each year, the Mission and Evangelism Committee selects and adopts a missionary (or missionary family) to pray for, learn from, interact with, and support financially. Our intent is to support the sharing of the gospel, learn about the church in other places of the world, and being intentional about giving support to mission workers.

Our adopted missionaries for 2012-2014 are the Rocio Vargas family, working in LaCarpio, Costa Rica, through Christ for the City International. The CFCI websites is: http://www.cfci.org/.  You can find out more about the Rocio Vargas family's ministry at:  http://alvinychio.blogspot.com.

We also continue to work with Judy Griffin, now on her 5th trip to Ghana to help orphaned children.  Find out how her work is going below.
