The best way to keep a healthy marriage is the same way to have a healthy pet-they both need time, attention, good food, exercise, and great love! With that in mind, the Marriage Course is an opportunity for couples to give their spouse and their marriage some quality time.

Westminster offers this 8-week course at least one time each year. Each evening typically begins with a meal. Over a candlelit dinner, couples have an opportunity to spend time together with each other or with other couples. Dinner is followed by a talk presented by video, interspersed with exercises and questions for each couple to discuss privately.

Topics covered include: learning to communicate effectively, resolving conflict, healing past hurts, recognizing each other's needs and how to make each other feel loved, as well as relationships with parents and in-laws, the importance of good sex, and how to have fun together. All discussions are private between husband and wife; there is no group work involved at any stage of the course.

The Marriage Course is not for couples who need professional counseling. It is an opportunity to make a good marriage even better.  Child care is provided.
